What is special in the Pro Version?

• Pro version allows you to set the Message that will be shown when the offer has started for the product
• You can also show a different message that will be shown when the offer is there but it is not yet started
• You can also change this message on the Product level as it has many options on the product level, See the below screenshot

• Here you have to enable the offer on a product, If you only enable the option and don’t do anything, then it will offer “Buy 1 get 1 free” and it will offer the same product for free
• If you want to offer different quantity then you can set them
• You can offer a different product as Free product on purchase of this product, you will have to enter the ID of the product that you want to offer as the free product
• You can set a start date and time for the offer, if you leave this blank offer will start as soon as the post is saved. If you specify a specific date and time then the offer will start from that particular date and time
• You can specify a different message to show when the offer is not yet started
• You can also set and end date and time for the offer, the offer will stop on this date and time

• You also get the option to specify various things in the message as a shortcode

• [buy_quantity] => quantity of product you have to buy,
• [free_quantity]=> quantity that you will get free,
• [free_name] => Free product title,
• [free_price] => free product original price,
• [end_date_time]=> offer end date and time,
• [start_date_time] => offer start date and time
• [end_date] => this will output only the Date
• [end_time] => this will give only end time
• [start_date] => will give start date
• [start_time] => will give start time

All the date and time format are controlled from your website date and time format set in your site Setting > General setting section

Bogo rules on product category

• Enable the rule on a particular category
• Select the type of Bogo deal to offer at present there are 2 types of deals to offer
  1. Buy Product A of this category and get Product A Free
  2. Buy Product A of this category and get Product B Free
• If you want to offer some other product as free product then you can select that product
• You can specify how much quantity of main product to purchase to get the Free product
• How much quantity of free product will be given
• What will be the maximum quantity that can be given for Free (leave this blank if you don’t want to put any restriction)
• If a product is having Bogo rule set on product level then it will take the precedence over the category level rule
• The free product offered can not be from the same category, for which you are setting the rule

Difference between the 3 rules

Free product is not getting added?

Make sure the Regular price field of the Free product is not left blank, if it is left blank then the product will not be added to the cart

Buy x unit get y unit of product free

Buy x unit of Product A and get y unit of product A free

Allowing customer to select other free product

Bogo rules created from category gives you option to select a different free product based on the choise given by you

User can add optional free product directly, or he can pecify a category whose product will be offer for free,

Customer will be given a choise on cart page and cehckout page to select a different free product

Alternate free product from product rule

You can offer alternate free product even from the Product level Bogo rule, you will have to select the free product that you want to offer for free

Then user will be able to select from the list of free product on the checkout page, you can even offer different free product with different variation
